I am Alpharius!
No, wait. I'm Scarlet. I played 40k back in the days of 3rd ed, I ran a great footslogging DE skew list. I also posted a ton on EldarOnline. But times changed (though it seems like GW has not) and I moved on to greener miniatures gaming pastures. Now however the big company I've been following has made a series of bad decisions with their new edition and I'm looking at 40k again. Or rather 30k. I got a Betrayal at Calth box and absolutely love it. Hard plastic is so much nicer than other miniatures materials.
I chose Alpha Legion because of the hydra and I like their rules. I'm a little sad they don't get much fluff, but I read Deliverance Lost and loved that. Legion on the other hand was not so well done IMO.
Anyway looking forward to posting here.

Welcome! The marines in BaC are pretty damn sick. I don't really like the dreadnaught but everything else looks amazing. Was thinking of getting one set myself.
Cute avatar.

the dread definitely needs work. I cut mine at the torso and use some plastic rod to give it a rotation. I think if I do another one I'm going to go with a more extensive re-pose.
Cute avatar.
Thanks
