I've been playing for CHSM since early 6th edition and I really support this army. New supplement update gave me a kind of hope for improvement. Here's a roster, based on new book and Start collecting box. Any thoughts on this?

I mean...it's fine but it probably won't win you many games unless you play another "start collecting" army. The terminator lord is a weak choice, especially when not accompanied by other terminators. No eternal warrior so s8 ap2 could one shot you if you miss your 5++.

CSM as troops are terrible. You almost always try to use plague marines or cultists as troops.

Even though CSM is one of the weakest codex's this list doesn't use any of the best units in that weak codex except for the bikers. No obliterators no helldrakes and no sorcerers for the cabal. Even just a sorcerer is a better choice than a lord unless you need the lord with a mark to unlock say plague marines as troops.
