Hey all. I've been playing 40k for a couple years now, and recently picked up some 30k models to play with. I've got some wiggle room for what to buy next, and wanted to run a list by you guys and see what you think (I know its about 80ish points over, still working on wargear specifics). Any help here would be appreciated, as I've never played 30k and am completely unfamiliar with whats good:

HQ:
Autek Mor:
-Master of legion, armoured spearhead, cyber familiar
-Bodyguard: 4x, 4x combat sheild, 3x power weapon, 1x power fist

Troops:
Legion Tactical squad:
-10x, bolters, sgt w/ power weapon, artificer armor, Land raider proteus (armored ceremite, dozer blade)

Legion Support squad:
-5x, plasma guns, Rhino (dozer blade)

Legion Support squad:
-5x, melta guns, Rhino (dozer blade)

Elites:
-Appothecary

Heavy Support:
Spartan Assault Tank:
-Frag assault launchers, armored ceremite, dozer blade

Lord of war:
Ferrus Manus

Okay firstly you don't have the minimum troops requirement as support squads are non-compulsory troops. Second you have way to few men anyway. I'm a defender of 10 man squads but 5 will get blown away, even in Rhinos. Instead of the support squads you're better off with another Tactical squad in a Proteus .
To be honest I would drop Ferrus as an Armoured spearhead should have a decent amount of tanks and firepower, and at 2000 points it's hard to field a Primarch and a lot of scary vehicles.

Any army with even an average amount of anti tank, simply needs to immobilise your spartan to take your Ferrus death star out of the game, and most players would only have to devote a small amount of fire to killing your troops.

So, I recommend more troops, and then maybe some vindicators/Predators/Sicarans for tank Spam instead of Ferrus.

Yeah, dropping Ferrus will let you add in another tactical squad and a tank of your choice. I would probably also drop one of the support squads to max out the other one.
I understand wanting to use a primarch, but they're best left to 2500+pts game, unless you're trying for the Primarch's Chosen RoW.

I reject absolutely revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method... is love. I love you Sheriff Truman." - Twin Peaks
