I think people are getting tired of the wait
I read a article on gamespot that a guy called the attorney general about them and they gave him a refund of his Kickstarter money
Has anyone here backed this game
Are you wanting your money back?

Backed it.
Not particularly concerned with the wait.
Of course, I also didn't shell out $2500. So that might have had something to do with his decision.

I've put in a lot, but I've also stopped now. Not another penny until there is more progress.
They are making very slow progress. I think if they paid less money to the talking/video/interview team and wasted less time interviewing everyone and made a game it would get a lot more gak done, but they made that damn promise to update them on EVERYTHING and the whiny community always wants more and they spend more time answering questions and tending to the masses of babies more than game making.
I have enough concerns I wouldn't want to put more cash into it and I might tell people to wait. On the other hand they have made enough progress for me to not call it a lemon.

Same here. I only went in at $60, so I'm not overly concerned. I spent the money long enough ago that it almost doesn't feel like it was my money at this point.

I put it in the 'too good to be true' category when the KS first hit and subsequent events have certainly not proven otherwise so I am more than happy to wait until it gets released, if it ever does of course

Oh it will get released some people found a data leak in their client and found.... references to hundreds of gigs of stuff not in the current client. Whether or not all of that makes it into the single player is another matter entirely.

Early backer, I love it. Wing Commander was what I played for endless hours at christmas 1990, then through the Secret Missions in '91, followed by WCII and its Special Operations. Great games. Strike Commander and Privateer were brilliant too. I still play the latter, as Gemini Gold.
I enjoy watching the development process of Star Citizen. The Alpha is interesting, I played it for about 60 hours so far. Gamescom in August will be a blast - until then ignore the s***talk, it will as always vanish afterwards.
Looking forward to the first missions of Squadron 42.

Backed it as soon as it hit kickstarter, went with the basic pledge but upgraded to a better ship when the Arena commander hit. Enjoying the alpha testing and the game is progressing if not a bit slow.
However the biggest recent game that I can think of is GTA and that took a team that have been doing that kind of game for many years a long time to develop a sickening amount of $$$.
I just hope they revamp the control layout soon so I can actually use my pedals instead of having to rely on a HAT for YAW/Roll

The big data file that was accidentally downloaded a while back also included a bunch of stuff that players had no clue even existed. There were lots of military ship models in the file that had never been mentioned by the developers... because they weren't intended for use by players.

I'm a backer since before KS. The second it came out and I even have a first fleet dog tag. One of the few limited ones and my citizen card which was at the time bronze Freelancer.
