Okay, so hopefully you all know I am building an amazon themed Imperial Guard Army. I decided I wanted Nork Deddog in it as a bodyguard, since this I am going with a massive command squad. So, I couldn't use the Nork figure. First, he is a male and this is an amazon army...second since the rest of the command squad was sculpted, I wanted this a sculpt. I compromised. I used an Ogrynn body and ripper gun, and am sculpting my own pose and arms etc. So far the Amazon bronze breastplate is in, the sword arm is about 70% done, and the ripper gun arm is posed. To see context for the unit go look at my Sister's of Steel Gallery, here:

Here are pics but please give some feedback to the following questions:
The sword...Nork does not come with anything more than a ripper gun, but I want him to have a huge sword. Since they count the same in CC, whatever, right? So, do you like the blade as just this huge chunk of steel with a rough edge, or should I add detailing to it?
Hair...so do I go with some sort of ponytail Mongolian "Q'? Or the full out farrah fawcett wave, as if she thinks she is good looking (and maybe for an ogress she is...)?
And I know, Fawcett is serious old school but she is who came to mind...
Anything else you think i could add to make her more of an Ogress?

Thanks Dakka! Sculpting remains a learning experience.

Looks really good but the hand on the sword seems an awkward angle.

Can't wait to see how this progresses

I agree on the hand, so I chopped it off, reversed it so now it is thumb up and looks much better.

How about using the head from the AoS female ogre?

Revenge is a dish best served with mayonnaise and those little cheesy things on sticks.

Hmmm I didn't know that head existed. I will look into it as a bit...not sure if I will change now, I've done a little more work. Oh well, still a good suggestion.

I think bald is a pretty good luck for a hulking warrior woman. It's not like people are going to have an issue identifying the gender unless it has hair

Okay, here she comes, Miss America...or not. Anyway, she is done and ready to lay her life on the line for my command squad! I went with the supermodel hair...and kept the sword plain, although if a bunch of good ideas come ion before I paint her... Anyway, Pics!

I really love the way her arms came out, and the hair. I continue to improve, although hard edges and tiny detail give me trouble. I have been contemplating the super fine milliput, as I read it holds detail and sharp edges better. Anyone got an opinion?

I'm loving the big honking sword, it's about as tall as she is, so it's like a 3 meter blade or something, I love it! The sculpting is great as well, muscle tone is well detailed, I can't wait to see the finished product

Shadowrun is the best game ever. It's the only thing I have ever played in which I have jumped out of a shot out van with a chainsaw to cut a flying drone in half before leveling a building with ANFO assisted by a troll, a dwarf, an elf, and a wizard.
