I was wondering what everyone thought the best way to destroy a warlord titan was in a turn. I have 2 reavers but I'm not sure if that's enough to finish the job. Any other suggestions will be appreciated.

Ranged D weapons will be best, with something lighter to chew through the void shields first. A single Reaver can put out 8 D-templates, so 2 should be enough (16 D-shots) and costs roughly the same as a warlord.

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

Not quite - the Warlord's arm mounts have Machine Destroyer and are AP1 - but close enough for government work.

I'd recommend at least one mount on the Reavers be a Gatling Blaster, though. It's got naff all effectiveness against a Warlord's hull, but will chew through the shields faster than turbolaser fire.

A Phantom Titan and going first.

Going to be very close. But if you're lucky, yes.

Pretty much any titan-on-titan fight comes down to who's luckier with Deathblow results. I'm looking forward to Adeptus Titanicus putting some actual crunch back into it...

Ultimately, if you want to kill a Warlord Titan in a turn, you're not going to without massed, massed, massed destroyer fire. 3,000 points of Wraithknights should make a fair mess of one, as they're fast enough to outmanoeuvre it - remember, it's still a Superheavy Walker, so still restricted (aside from the Ardex Defensor weapons) to a 90' arc of fire forwards. Also (for anyone else unfortunate enough to encounter one!) remember that its carapace weapons cannot engage non-superheavies within 24".

Find an appocalyypse formation you like with the can assault after deepstrike special rule, kit them out with some serious anti vehicle close combat weapons. Take the Does not scatter after deepstrike strategic asset and boom the are gone in a single turn.

Someone do the math on the Necron Apoc formation that brings in 10 units of warriors?

If they are 10 full units that is 200 warriors. If they can rapid fire that is 400 shots that glance on 6s. So around 17% should be 6s. That comes out to 67 glances.

Someone will have to take it from here I'm not sure what kind of save that thing has.

Also this all depends on the warriors surviving into rapid fire range which seems HIGHLY unlikely.

Terminators with chainfists.

If you can put them all in a first company task force (preferred enemy THAT) you'll quite possibly bang it on the first charge. Termies will die though.

Combine that/those with electrodisplacement to get a turn 1 charge.

Equivalent points in chain fist termies + IG priests for Zealot gives out something close to 110 chainfist attacks, potentially more if you take BT traits for the 1ctf, and enough left over for 3 conclaves rolling electro displacement.

1/3 of 110 is just enough to have a fair chance with armour bane and preferred enemy accounting for explodes!! results

Some people find the idea that other people can be happy offensive, and will prefer causing harm to self improvement.

You can't effectively close combat it unless you're a super heavy as you'll only hit on 6's otherwise

Anything but a gargantuan monstrous creature or a super-heavy walker hits this thing on a 6 in close combat. Gargantuans and super-heavies hit it on a 5+ in close combat, making the clean tackle of an AV15 30HP super-heavy walker in melee a bit of a big ass fantasy.

Shooting it is probably the best way to go about it, but it will require a lot of D-weapons, or a few very lucky rolls to kill it cleanly before it can do too much damage.

Autarch gives +1 to reserve rolls, making all untis drop in the same turn. Farseers cast Guide/Prescience on all untis of WG. 50 twin-link D shots should kill it, right?

Bring the equivalent amount of points in dakkajets in the karnage skwadron. Then have other stuff cowering like gretchin that he can't see because they are so small. And spread them out too like 5-6 units of them. Then the air force comes in and suicides into the titan for 20x(d3+1) S10 Ap2 large blasts. It could be entertaining if nothing else. Also the planes ignore shields, void shields and all that stuff. So unless it is a daemon it gets no save.

It has AV15 and a 5++. The Karnage Skwadron will do an average of 60 hits assuming no misses (because it is so big), 20 glances or pens, about 13 get through the save. You will need a hell of a lot of Explodes! results to kill it.

Ya nevermind you aren't getting through without a lot of luck. I missed the 5+ invul first time around. Also since I hadn't checked I thought it was 20 not 30 hp.

The current Warlord Titan got a pretty significant buff over the old 4th version.

Well you only need ~100 chainfist terminators charging in to do it

How many termies you can fit around the warlord so that they can attack? Of course getting charge would be tad challenging...
