I sort of want to have my Dread with one foot standing on something. Any ideas on how?

"Hip" and "knee" joints would be a good place to start..

I re-positioned the feet on my Helbrute with some cutting to get rid of the unnatural lean it had.

That sister has remained remarkably clean...

But yeah, on a loyalist Dread its even easier because you don't have to worry about fixing flesh later. Its just joints and wire.

I have reposed dreadnaughts, sentinels, wraithlords and the 30k equivalents. The secret is that knee cut needs to follow the curve of the knee "gear". Which is not easy. Generally I find the foot and hip easier . So it can be done, you just have to look closely at the model and cut it where the actual joint would "turn" on its pivot. Sorry I don't have pics, it has been a long time...

Keeping the hobby side alive!

I never forget the Dakka unit scale is binary: Units are either OP or Garbage.

Here's a couple of photos from my last three Dreads. As you can see they've been reposed so they're all climbing/walking. Excuse the unfinished paintjob, still need to finish the weapons.

This one shows the process, you make a series of cuts as shown in this link here, allows reposing around two joints.
