I was about to ask if there was any new starter sets for Stormcasts, Fyrelsayers (I think that is what they are called), Orrucks or Sylventh (spelling?) and if not, why not. Then I clicked on Dakka news and rumours and saw this.

I guess I don't have to ask that question except where are the Fyreslyaers.
Finally, and OMG are they awesome. What do you think. Like I said in N&R, I think I just became broke.

I think its safe to say GW love to neglect the Fyreslayers lol.
Some of those are very tempting. The Flesheater courts one would make a nice addition to my death army, and Bloodbound have been tempting me recently...

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-) |

Truthfully, I think Fyreslayers are being neglected for a reason:
Their kits are selling decently, but not amazingly. They also range the gamut from a "great deal"(Magmadroth can build 3 heroes if you build Runeson or Runefather on the mount, the alternative one on foot[they share the same legs for foot/mounted], and the Runesmither on foot--or 2 heroes if you build the Runesmiter on mount) to "why in the world do these cost so much?!"(the Vulkite Berzerkers).
Additionally, they might be saving them for a Start Collecting when Silver Tower's contents are released individually and bundling in the Berzerker from the box with the Start Collecting like they did with the Tau Start Collecting and the campaign set "Infiltration Cadre Burning Dawn".

If they put the Doomseeker in a start collecting box with the Magamadroth and 10 Vulkite Bezerkers or something, I would be all over it. That would represent an epic saving though.

Is there only 2 Retributors? Weird number, even considering the new £10 box.
But I thought it would never happen, but that sylvaneth box is SO tempting.

I've got to say, the Ironjawz box has me rethinking my Dwarf plans. I bought and painted up one box of Brutes and just loved working on them.

Eh. It actually makes perfect sense for the 2 Retributors.
A Start Collecting set plus an Easy to Build Retributors or Age of Sigmar set would net you a unit of 4 or 5 Retributors--or alternatively you could get a Paladins box and build a unit of 4 Retributors with a Starsoul mace and add the last Retributor to the Start Collecting set.

The Sylvaneth one is brilliant for me. I was about to order a box of dryads and big tree for my other half. I was going to skip the Branchwych as for €18 shes not really that interesting a model, and I could make something out the dryads and the bits box.
How ever, with discount from the store I was ordering them from, the box will £5 less than the two boxes separately, AND the branchwych is free.
The court is really tempting, I've wanted an excuse for a zombie dragon since they came out, but never got round too it. I'd prefer a more classic looking undead force, but that box is just so tempting, I'd to try my hand at painting them.
Not keen on the Ironjawz, which I thought I would be. Thought we would get the decent looking boss, but its the wardancer, which I really dislike.
A little bit disappointed their is still no Moonclan start collecting set (Not that I need one, I still have about 400 unpainted ones from the last few years, not mention the half ton of lead ones that have been soaking in detol for the past couple of years, that I never quite get around to finishing!)
Seeing newer stuff in the start collecting range is good though- still holding out/whishlisting for a skryer/tech start collecting box with some new jezzail teams or something. I'd buy so many of them!!
