I've been using up a lot of leftover sprue for purposes of building terrain, bulking up vehicles, or otherwise clearing out my general clutter, but I still have an issue:

Most GW box sets come with way more arms/heads than actual torsos/bodies, and I'm not quite sure what to do with them all!

Heads I figure can be mounted on bosspoles or similar "conversions", but what about arms? Would it be possible to do "Fake" torsos" in order to mount them? Or are there other uses I'm not thinking about?

It depends on the kit but it's possible to put all of those extra bits onto some older, outdated models from ebay or models from other manufacturers like mantic or you could sculpt some if you've got the skills?
