Returning to the hobby after years in the wilderness. I used to play a lot of WHFB, but since it has been replaced by AoS, I am thinking of returning to 40k (which I haven't played since 5th ed).
I was considering Orks (naturally! ) and picked up about 500pts worth of the Greenskins recently but I'd be concerned about being able to transport a full horde army, especially since all Nob armies are no longer viable. I still have some of my Death Guard, but they're nearly 14 years old and in dire need of updating. Either way I'm effectively starting from scratch, so any advice for a fun to play, fun to paint and relatively small (aka not massive!) model count would be greatly appreciated. My regular group play Traitor Guard, Space Marines and Chaos Undecided, so I'd rather not overlap too heavily with those. I might repost this bit in the general discussion as separate discussion.
In any case, looking forward to joining the community! Also I hear you guys sometimes do batch orders on custom dice -- where can I keep an eye out for that?
