Hey guys, I had a brainwave that might be good or not or whatever.
I was thinking today and thought about the Annual Dakka Rewards Ceremony threads that we've previously had, pretty much the most coveted wargaming accolade ever.
I thought up a new category: 'The Shakespear/Quoth the Raven' or whatever it'd be called. The most quoted User of 2016.
Is this something that could be datafied by the brains behind the scenes?

Anyway that got me thinking, it's a bit too early to start talking about that but I'd like to remember the idea before it gets lost in the warp.
How easy would it be to add a private notebook attached to individual profiles for jotting down notes, writing half conceived ideas and whatnot to be simply copied and pasted or even just moved by a mod when they are complete.

Normally I'd work on a PC with all of the space in the world for these concepts to float around but it'd be handy to keep all my wargaming ideas in one place from my phone when I'm on the go.

Good idea? Bad idea? Impossible to implement? Thoughts?

Oli: Can I be an orc?
Everyone: No.
Oli: But it fits through the doors, Look!

The quote counting thing is a pain, as it requires a massive plain text search of the DB which is quite intensive so probably wont happen.

You already have a notebook of sorts attached to your profile - your user article here:
http://www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/User:(your name)

so mine is:
http://www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/User:legoburner

Yours is:
http://www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/User:Alex Kolodotschko

and there you can dump any notes, half baked ideas, etc. I use mine to remember my paint schemes.
