Hey guys so I saw a cool necron story the other day and I realised I haven't seen much other stuff out there. I realise we are filthy xenos but I would love to read more stories. Is there anything besides the few that are on the black library? Thanks people

I do find that the Necron tend to be quite scarce in the fluff actually, there really doesn't seem to be too much of them.
I believe Black Library has an anthology 'Everliving Legions' which collects a bunch of stories featuring the Necron.
The only one I've read is Word of the Silent King, which is pretty short, so I sadly can't help much. The Shield of Baal Campaign Books' second book has quite a bit about the Necrons, they even get to be protagonists in it, but that's all I know, sorry.

No problem, I honestly wish there was a bit more on the Necron. Particularly the Silent King he's ancient, has more up-to-date knowledge of the galaxy's history than literally anyone alive I think yet seems to have little to no impact on the fluff. Kinda a character who's potential I think Geedubs is wasting.

Just found one of the Imperial Armour FW books has a whole campaign based around a necron obliteration of a solar system.

I don't think it's on Black Library, but Xenology is a terrific read, especially when it comes to necrons

Gods? There are no gods. Merely existences, obstacles to overcome.

Though, to be fair, Xenology is written from an in-universe perspective, and both the Tech-Priest and the Inquisitor in the story are insane and filled with all sorts of humano-centric biases. There's a bunch of details in the book that are wrong, too (like Tau with toes).

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised. |
