My two cents on this:
Running orikan and zandrekh with the wraiths have pretty much crippled the wraiths. They are a super fast unit meant to quickly engage the opponents big scaries to tie them up. Which will never happen now they are moving max 6" a turn. You could daisy chain them, but seems too much effort in my books.
Orikan is generally run with sword & board lychguard, and they normally have a night scythe and a o/lord with a VoD to increase their mobility.
Also, I don't have my codex on me
atm but I'm 99% sure you need 3x3 destroyers to make a legal cult, adding heavy destroyers in on top of that.
Having heavy destroyers in the same squad as normal destroyers is wasting shots in my books. They should be focusing completely different targets, and they don't have split fire.
To keep the list similar to what you have but
imo stronger I would run:
1x zandrekh
5x immortals w/gauss
10x Warriors
10x Warriors
3x tomb blades w/ vanes & scopes
1x d/lord w/ scythe, Nightmare shroud & phase shifter
3x H/destroyers
5x destroyers
5x destroyers
4x destroyers
1x spyder
6x wraiths w/ coils
4x scarabs
Ok couple of things.
The only restrictions on D-cult is "3 units of Destroyers" and "Each unit of destroyers must contain at least 3
models". So you can run 2 destroyers and 1 Heavy according to the destroyer unit on page 91. As that is a legal choice for the "unit" and has "3 models" it meets the restrictions.
I understand that it will slow the wraiths down a bit. I don't mind daisy chaining them for this purpose. I feel they will be superior to the L-guard with Sword and board because of the +1 attacks, +1 wounds, 5 initiative, +possible ap2 from rending, etc.
I understand what you are saying however and will take it into consideration.
