Stalwart Space Marine

Hey there,

I have a quick question about the models from the warhammer starter set, Battle for Skullpass. Does anybody know if the size of the models in the starter set are similar to the models not in the starter set. So for instance are the dwarf warriors from the set equal in size to normal warriors or are they smaller? Thanks

-They shall be my finest Ultrasmurfs. Built and painted so that they may wreck the faces of those that oppose them!
-My young pupil... you seem to have this unholy addiction to Ultramarines. WE MUST TEST YOU FOR HERESY. -Inquisitor mean man
Ultramarine army- 10k
Imperial knights- 2
Vampire counts- 2k
Eternity King- 3k
Dark Eldar: Eternal Thorn 1300pts
And lots of other armies, I just cant fit them here

I can't speak for the stunties, the Night Goblins are well matched between the ones in and not in the starter set.

The canon is actually smaller, but the Dwarves themselves are about the same size, possibly a little smaller, but not by a significant amount.

Shadowrun is the best game ever. It's the only thing I have ever played in which I have jumped out of a shot out van with a chainsaw to cut a flying drone in half before leveling a building with ANFO assisted by a troll, a dwarf, an elf, and a wizard.

The Dwarf Warriors lack detail though. They are very one-dimensional and standing next to a multi-part plastic kit, you can really see the difference. Same goes for the lord and the Slayer.

I think the only ones that are "ok" are the miners. The Gobbos are the clear winners of that set.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

The gobbos are top notch. Dwarves are a bit bland. And yeah, they did seem a bit smaller next to regular boxed dwarves. Still, if you can get the night gobbos cheaply, then load up on some awesome models!!

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

The gobbos are my fav from the set. Especially the Big Boss with the most adorable Squig ever.
