Made great progress with an AoS minigame I designed, and am moving on to Pirates.
Right now I'll have to settle for the Pirates of the Spanish Main card-miniatures, but those will be very cheap to acquire (hopefully) so I can enjoy the pirate gaming.

Just glued the turret rotational assembly of my first Fire Prism to the hull, due to derp. However, I redeemed myself by using my Ork skills to free the assembly, and give me free movement again.
Through the use of some rusty secateurs and a rather careful amount of elbow grease. Managed to not damage anything
Us Midwestern types are enduring a rather prolonged hot and humid stretch... ...and my dog, an English Bulldog is not a very happy camper at the moment. His breed does not fare well in heat.
Anyways, we got into the habit of taking him out and just hosing him down a couple times a day as a little refreshing break and then thought, why not get him his own kiddie pool?
Since the arrival of said kiddie pool, and it's successful roll out and introduction, the beastie has gotten into the habit of walking over to the back door and doing a little whine when he feels like taking a dip. We're up to about 6 pool visits a day now and he's loving life.
Nothing better than a happy Bulldog!
