I am thinking of trading my Tau for some Tyranids, A guy has offered me a list but I can only take about 2000 points of this list as my tau army is only 2000 points.

I have barely even played against Tyranids so I know nothing about them but love getting new armies and playing them.

Could people please help me construct this list he gave me into a 2000 point list that is not gonna get steamrolled?

I realize I am coming across as lazy not even posting an attempt at a list but When I see the amount of upgrades and wargear there was I realized I know nothing.

Ill make you a quick list later, but what you need to know,

You need at least 2-3 hive tyrant with wings and twin linked devourers et electroshock grubs

Carnifexes with twin linked devourers are also not bad, since he doesnt have mawloc to fill heavy support slot

With his stuff, you will need at least 1 malanthrope or a few more venomthropes. However, here is what I would play
