Hey all, Back again with my New 2,000 point Stormcast Eternals list. After completing some Math Hammer (which I'll share later), I readjusted my list to get rid of some cancer tier units. I'm pretty happy with the way the list looks, havign the classic Infantry, Archers, and (whacky) calvary set up.

Leader 1-6 600
-Lord Celestant on Dracoth 220pts
-Lord Relictor 80pts
-Knight Vexillor 200pts
-Lord Castelant 100 pts

Battleline 3+ 720
-Liberator x 10 200pts
-Liberator x 10 200pts
-Judicator x 5 160pts
-Judicator x 5 160pts

Other 680
-Retributors x 5 220pts
-Concussors x2 280pts
-Prosecutors w/ hammers x 3 100pts
-Prosecutors w/ Javelins x 3 80pts

The idea is that the liberators and judicators form the core of my army, with the liberators screening the judicators. The concussors and the Lord Celestant are my flankers, and the prosecutors contest objectives and add weight to the judicators fire. The Relictor and Castellant support the liberators, buffing them and debuffing the opponents. The vellixor and the retributors are the wild card, with the ability to send them anywhere, they will be used for assisnations or clutch contestation.

Constantly being negative doesn't make you seem erudite, it just makes you look like a curmudgeon.

Had my first real game with this list, it was against a slaves to darkness/bloodbound/everchoosen army led by Archaon. It was another gifts from the heavens (I really like that scenario), which is probably why I won, because I did not bring enough beef to take down Archaon. I managed to keep my objective through out the game and take his (for a turn) by teleporting my Retributors on top of it with the pennant of the stormbringer, which also killed his bloodsecrator, forcing his units to take battle shock tests and loosig the attack buff. My Conussors man handled his varinguard, I crossed the t on them and he never got the chance to to pile in because of the concuss special rule. One unit of liberators stopped his chaos warriors before they could get close to my objective and fought pretty evenly with them despite being out numbered, and he had to bring Archaon in to try and save them and finish collapsing the flank my objective was behind, which got my second group of liberators brought in. Many liberators died holding Archaon away from my objective, and I had to abandon my other flank to get the bodies in the fight. But in the end I won by three points, the three my Retributors got me while killing his bloodsecrator. MVP is probably the knight vexillor, he was able to make the retributors attack from an unexpected angle, and while they got eaten by Archaon on his next turn, they scored the game winning points and killed his lynchpin synergy unit. Honorable mention to the concussers who hit way above their weight and saved the liberators from being trampled by the varingaurd.

Other thoughts; Archaon a pain in the butt to fight, as i said I didn't have the beef to kill him, so my only solution was tarpit him and hope he didn't get a good turn of rolls. Though 400 points of liberators to hold off 700 points of archaon is probably what gave me the advantage in all of the other fights. My ranged were not as effective as I had hoped, but that may also be because pivoted them to archaon before realizing I was trying to ice skate uphill, when they were firing at the chaos warriors they were doing fairly well. Final thought is, liberators are the most underrated unit in the SE army, they were 20% of my points and and at least 50% of the reason I won. They had inflicted 8 or so wounds on archaon by the time the fight ended (lay low the tyrant gives them 3+/3+ x2 a round per model), and with a little help from the lord castellant, took on almost twice their points in chaos warriors and gave as good as they got.

Constantly being negative doesn't make you seem erudite, it just makes you look like a curmudgeon.
