Hi everyone!
My new big project - Skarbrand. I don’t really like the standart color of Khorn’s daemons’ skin, but I wanted him to be recognizable and easily identified as a Khorn’s daemon. Brush and acrylic. The airbrush was used only for priming. Also the guy has two bases: display and games.

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers. |

He only holds them like that until he gets into melee, then he slides his grip down to get maximum choppiness. When you've been killing things for over forty thousand years, you learn how to efficiently handle your weapons. Skarbrand may be SO ANGRY ALL THE TIME, but he's turned his skill into instinct.

Well for closer combat and more strength and control higher on the handle you hold the better. Like when I clomb a tree to chop it down, I would never hold the bottom of the axe, the chances of it slipping and getting lodged in me is more likely so a shorter more controled less agressive approach is needed. The bottom of the handel is more or less used for just a reckless power swing.
Think about when someone uses a bo there is tape in the middle as well as both sides, you hold the middle as often as the edge.
Thats why things like broad swords and such are not used for man on man so much as anti calvary, a more short sword or cutlass is used. Less power more control. Look at the blood thrister with the giant axe if he held only he bottom of the axe he would have more power but...... He would just be swinging then whirling in a circle til it stoped. Also farther out you connect to another hard item the less strength you can extert to it the farther back you are.
