Hey guys just sharing something im working on.

So the story behind this is a friend challenged/commissioned me to build him a desk ornament and after a bit of brainstorming we came to the idea of a servo skull that will hold his gaming headset.

So first of all I built a proof of concept for the item
Spoiler:

After this I started working on the support structure for the skull which would end up being the tendrils to make these I epoxied steel coat hangers to a plastic skull I had laying around from last halloween I then epoxied wireing bunting to the steel wire and epoxied it to the skull, wire and base I then covered it in masking tape and filled the inside with expanding foam to stiffen and fill the bunting even more.
I then covered the plastic skull in filler plaster in order to give the clay a decent surface to bond with. I then sculpted in details.

Brownie points for anyone who can guess what inspired the arm position,
Took a while to remember how to get pictures working
Sorry about the picture qaulity I took the pictures to let my freind see how the project is going along rather than to really share them.
Let me know what you guys think thanks.

I have an idea for Yorick here, get a raspberry pi and put it inside. Set it up to be a internet radio.

(a raspberry pi is a $35 credit card size computer. There is all sorts of things that can be done with them. Internet radio is only one of the things you can do with it.

Good afternoon all.

Well I finished the skull a few days ago ive quite a few personal nitpicks but my friend is absolutely delighted with it so here are two quick pictures I snapped of it before I gave it to my friend.

Thanks for the idea SQRT but unfortunetly he didnt want any electronics in it, I was originally planning on using a solar stake light for the eye as the back of the head would constantly be facing a window but alas he did not want any lights at all. I do however have an idea for something ill be doing for Halloween that I might use that idea for thanks.

=Angel= close but no cigar it was actually Mr burns and his creepy dangly claw hands

Thanks for checking it out and sorry about my bad posting style kind of getting back into the swing of things.
