I'm from the Vale Renegades Gaming Club - a friendly local club based in Firestorm Games in Cardiff UK. We have our tournament - Seeds of Destruction - coming up on the 24th and 25th of September. It promises to be a great weekend!

Saw this on a local group's page.

Doesn't look very restrictive and a recent tournament of me involving literally taking models off the table all day, unable to even kill a single unit, paired with playing against unpainted or base coated models has left a very bitter taste towards chancing another summer's weekend away.

What lists can i expect?

Also do you ever run any casual or restricted events?

Well we're expecting a huge variety of lists. Obviously I cannot reveal any lists that have been submitted as that would be unfair, however there are plenty of people coming who are casual players as well as some more experienced competitive players. Within our club members we have people who are literally just there for a laugh right up to the team Wales ETC Captain so there's all sorts. We're not expecting it to be too horrendous at all - you will definitely have some fun games. Also we are using the ITC comps for this event so a lot of the most horrendous things are comped for example the invisibility psychic power, warp spiders, etc.

Also all models must have a minimum of 3 colours of paint - though we would rather things are fully painted and have some great painting comps over the weekend.

We will have some more events coming up in the future - if you follow our Facebook page you can keep up to date with things. However I can promise Seeds of Destruction will be an awesome weekend for all!

Just under 2 weeks till this event and 1 week until list submission. We have made the decision to allow 30K lists in as well so please feel free to bring a Horus Heresy army if you would like!
