Hey all,

I've been playing around with ideas for how to get some good milage out of the TIE Bomber/ shuttle. And the combination of passing a target lock to a ship like the TAP v1 is particularly appealing.

So,here's my initial thought as to a list to take advantage of it:

==================

100 points:

Baron of the Empire (24)
TIE Advanced Prototype (19), Juke (2), TIE/v1 (1), Autothrusters (2)

Scimitar Squadron Pilot (19)
TIE Bomber (16), TIE Shuttle (0), Twin Ion Engine Mk. II (1), systems officer (2)

The Inquisitor (31)
TIE Advanced Prototype (25), Push the Limit (3), TIE/v1 (1), Autothrusters (2)

“Omega Leader” (26)
TIE/fo Fighter (21), Comm Relay (3), Juke (2)

I was thinking that combining two tried and true ships (Inquisitor & Omega Leader) with an extra TAP and the shuttle could work.

The low ps of the shuttle doesn't matter as I can have it fly a turn behind the other ships to provide a boost to whichever one can use it.... and there's part of me that would love to find the points to add a fleet officer to the shuttle as well but the obvious choice of dropping the Baron to a test pilot seems like it sacrifices too much punch...

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts

Nice idea. It also gives you a few tricks you can play with PTL:

Scimitar moves first and performs a green move. The Inquisitor acquires a Target Lock. With TIE/v1 he can then perform a free evade action and with Push The Limit can then perform another action (let's say focus).

The Inquisitor then activates, performs a green move....clearing off the stress he's just acquired, and getting his normal action - for a full set of three tokens, plus a boost or barrel roll, and no stress to show for it!

I'd keep the Baron. PS4 lets you dance around most generic pilots, and with only 2 dice in your primary attack you'll REALLY miss juke if you give it up.

I've been running a wonderful shuttle. Scimitar squadron pilot with tie mk.ii, shuttle title, and fleet officer.

I love this little guy more than systems officer. Sure you can fit both on him, but my shuttle comes out to a neat 20, which I love.

Works wonders with a 3 ship build. With 2 attack ships double focused and in your face, I can usually fly my shuttle as a blocker and still give great action economy.
