The past three times I loaded the Dakka forum index on my mobile, I got redirected to a series of sketchy websites.
Proof:
Another instance:
This only started happening today. I did not click anything. Putting my adblock (Crystal) on, seems to have fixed the issue, but I would prefer to see good ads to help contribute to Dakka.

Strange, we only use image adverts that we host ourselves, or google's standard adverts. Are you certain your device has not been compromised by a dodgy app install perhaps?
Does it happen on all pages of Dakka, or do you still see certain ads normally?
Please post if it still happens in a few days time in case it was a temporary google problem.

Yes, I am. The only apps I have are relatively popular, and my phone is not jailbroken.
The two pages it occured on were the Dakka front page and the White Dwarf Going Monthly rumor page.
I have disabled my adblock for now, loaded those pages again, and it is not happening. I suppose Google fethed up and accidentally accepted a dodgy ad.

Mine had done it a couple weeks back, but stopped within a few days. I flushed my cache and it had seemed to do the trick.
|
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Just happened to me a few seconds ago. On a different system compared to last time. Seemed to be the same site though. "We have calculated your computer is 28.4% corrupted due to 4 different viruses"

I've just had myself redirected to one of those advert pages which hijacks your phone vibrate. Strange, since I have adverts disabled because DCM, though I have noticed adverts occasionally loading anyway on mobile despite this--including one just now as I went to confirm I still have them disabled in my profile.
