A daemon player friend of mine has challenged my Marines to an epic battle. 3000 points.

We each have a pretty good idea of what to expect from each other. I expect many Tzzetch Daemons flying around/probably some forge world flyers and maybe a titan.
Normally I just ignore air-power but that simply wont work this game. So I've included some options to deal with flyers. We don't use trash DFTS rules.

Am I prepared to face daemons?

Are you using the Fist of Medusa Strike Force? Gladius doesn't have raptor wing formation it only have Stormwing.
Geneally speaking, at 3000pts, you could have quite a lot options. For example, a Medusa strike force with Armor Task force, to include your Predator, some squadron of 3 Vindicator and some TFC. Anti Air force with 3 stalkers along with Stormwingor Raptorwing to hunt down the Flying Daemon, and you can have strike force Command (Captain smerth and Command Squad) and Librarian Conclave to support your army.

Also, take a few Culexus Assassin is always good. Although the larger Daemons can fly, but there will always be some smaller guys on the ground that need to rely on Psychic blessing to survive or they themselves are psykers. Your assassin can chase them and help the Marines to hunt them down.
