Been in 40k for a while now and I got quite a bit of games under my belt. My favorite miniature is the one on my avatar a terminator lord with Chain fist / LC.
I want to make a viable army around him but I just do not see him how he would support an army.
My current HQ is a jugger lord with KolRath axe of ruin and he is performing incredibly.
My current models are 24 zerkers, 40 flesh hounds, 2 mauler fiends, kharybdis assault claw,
20 blood letters, 3 blood crushers, 6 bikers, a skull cannon, 5 possessed, 1 D thirsters, 1 Prince and a Chaos knight paladin.
I am trying to make a list around the termi lord but just can't figure it out. I was thinking about a land raider but 230 points for a gak raider with no potms it is just sad
I was thinking maybe deepstriking with letters but that is unsufficient I played like 3 games and the letters and the lord did nothing and I was carried by the dogs and the maulerfiends.
So I do not see a place for him. I am willing to expand my collection and I am expanding it all the time but I just do not see any reason to take this lovely lord that looks bad ass over the juggerlord it is just sad.
Any ideas guys

For casual play you could give the Termie lord an entourage of Chaos Terminators and put them in a Land Raider. For competitive play, though, terminators are garbage. It's a shame, because like you said the minis are awesome! In competitive play, Juggerlords are the way to go.

To be more specific to your question, I don't know a way to build an entire army around that one character. I do think its an interesting idea to DS him with Bloodletters though. Maybe take a Herald in the unit as well to give them Hatred from that Locus.

Typhus is about the only way to make a foot Lord work, and even then he needs something to handle targets that have an AV value.

With what you got, maybe a Daemonkin Lord hopping alongside the Brazen Onslaught might be okay. Brazen Onslaught is one of my favorite things to look at for Termicide mostly.

Thanks for the responces guys I think I have found a way to do it and I think it will make a good show gonna post the list in the list section and lets see if people bash me nice.
Basic idea is to get a fist of khorne a gore pack with 4x msu dogs and the lord + 2 groups of blood letters one of which will get instrument of chaos which will let me have a higher chance to bring my lord in from ds with the blood letters unit.
Berserkers come turn one they charge dogs move up. Turn 2 dogs charge and my lord comes in. Turn 3 he kills what ever he can and I am either blown of the table or I blow the other guy off.
But the fist I think will enable the lord what do you think.
