The goal here is simple: acquire as many fish as possible in a single list whilst still being viable in casual/semi-competitive environments. Absurdity is key, the amount of floating stuff on the board should be staggering. I'm currently looking for feedback, possible alternative lists and ideas on how to switch and swap points. Right now, the list i'm settled on is:

Armored interdiction cadre:
2 Skyrays 230
hammerhead with ion cannon and disruption pod 140
hammerhead with ion cannon and disruption pod 140
Longstrike with a rail gun sub-munitions and a disruption pod and 185

Pirhana firestream wing:
1 lead piranha with disruption pod 55
5 basic piranha 200
5 basic piranha 200
5 fusion piranha 250

Allied detatchment: tau empire
HQ: ethereal 50
troops: 11 breachers with devilfish 179
fast attack: 4 tetras 140
heavy support: barracuda 185 points with Cyclic ion blasters


This comes out to about 1954. I'm trying to consider how I'd spend the rest of these points. One idea would be to deck out the Baracuda. Whilst I feel like the railgun is a bad upgrade for it in most cases, the extra armor 13 penning power it'd bring would be nice and is something I feel I lack, given how I've only longstrike and those pirhana for popping real tanks. If I did run the railgun I'd be at about 1974 points. If anyone has some good ideas on how to spend these points that' be swell, and if anyone has some ideas on different fish I could fit in and how to do so, and what to swap around that'd be nice. I feel like I've enoughrate of fire and pie plates to drop guardsmen and enough ap 3 to make any marine player cry, but I think I need more ap 1-2 in my army. I'm uncertain how to get it though whilst sticking to the theme.

I think breachers are max 10.give D-pods to the skyrays and the hammer heads. Also give the breachers a squad leader and guardian drone. I find that 5++ goes a long way

Agreed with the above, also look into seekers (but only on the 5fish squads) since RAW, they can't enter and leave in the same turn. ( easily done by dropping a skyray, your spare points, and you'll probably have enough left over for the squad leader and guardian drone) If you need more points still, fusion piranha are ok, but 2x seekers on each will probably serve better, assuming you're doing a seeker/drone factory with them.
