Hey, I'm a new player looking to make a 2k list.
Love the idea of doing a tzeentch themed list with some slaves to darkness in there too. I will be using the Tzeentch Cohort battalion for this.

What do you think? I've never played but it seems strong. With the shrine and a mystic shield I'll have a big blob of 3+ rerollable knights running around.

All the casters in the cohort can sling shield and bolt reliably with the lord of change and scribes buffing my casting.

Let me know

Blue Scribes 120

Lord of Change 260

3x10 Pink Horrors 420

3 Screamers of Tzeentch 140

Herald of Tzeentch 120

Chaos Warshrine 200

15 Chaos Knights 600

120 Battalion

hey what time is it?

The Cohort's ability for more spells become a bit useless in matched play's Rule of 1 so that 120 points for the battallion becomes dead weight.

I find the Cohort does better if one has Fateweaver ensuring 1 unit in the cohort comes back to life on a 6 guaranteed. But it's definitely not for extra spells.

The Blue Scribes and the Screamers may not be needed knowing all that. The Lord of Change already has a good enough Command Ability that you can cast any spell you want reliably with him anyways.

That should free up 260 points and I might suggest some Flamers.

Those 15 Knights should be fine on their own without a Warshrine buffing them and that thing wouldn't be much use either wise.

With the drops, you should have 460 points left over.

If you don't use the Battallion, that's an extra 580 points.

Also, find a way to have a Balewind Vortex. They turn the Lord of Change into a beast with a 36" range Infernal Gateway.
