Alright so the combined arms detachment in the rule book has the ideal mission commander benefit which if you choose this detachment as your primary detachment, then you can "choose to re-roll the result on the Warlord Trait table. If I choose this detachment as my primary and choose to use a codex warlord trait table, do I get to re roll or does it only count for the three trait tables in the rule book? Thank you.

Yes you can reroll the codex warlord traits.

here's a follow up question, if i take Asurmen from eldar, who grants D3 warlord traits when rolling on the eldar warlord table, could you reroll all the warlord traits or just 1?

Any of the d3: each is a result from the warlord traits table.

Keep in mind that some of the similar Detachment abilities in the codices only allow rerolling the Warlord Trait if it is from the codex Warlord Trait list.

Not that this applies here since it is the rulebook detachment involved, but good to keep in mind, nonetheless.
