Ok in October they are having a 40k tournament but it's 100 pounds per team why so high?
Going to be in the UK that week and was wondering if it was worth trying to get a team to go

It works out at £50 a person.
This covers -
Table use 9-5.30 for two days
Lunch meals (cooked meal, side and dessert) for two days in the diner
Prizes are unique glass trophies for 2-3 categories
It's more than a FLGS would charge, but it's to cover the cost of losing their gaming hall for the entire weekend I guess.

Those two meals alone normal will be 20 quid or more separately. Maybe 30.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

It's not bugman's, it's the staff canteen which is a fair bit cheaper.
Gotta pay for that extension somehow!

It's really not that high per person at all. 9th Age 2-day Tournament near me next month is $55. and it's in a hotel with no food provided. You're getting some meals thrown in, you're in WHW and currently have a favorable GBP/USD exchange rate, drop some dosh and have an experience you'll remember.

Yeah. Though props to them, the Sunday is usually fresh meat and veg like a Sunday lunch.
..it's sad that I've done enough to say "usually".
