So as I've finished up one of my own conversions I thought I'd share my concept of what an Ogor from Ulgu would look like, changed by the Shifting veil of Darkness in the Realm and suitably Piratey atop a Kraken since I couldnt envisage a normal Thundertusk mammoth surviving the high seas:
In the mists of Ulgu beneath the floating isles lay the whispering seas. Their waters ran deep and cold, the mysteries of ages long since past consumed by the relentless tide and pulled beyond the reach of mortal men. And in these darkened waters creatures warped by the Realms shifting nature lurk, hungry beasts that seek to devour all that would cross their path, unimaginable horrors of teeth and tendrils always shifting just beneath the surface, dragging man and monster alike down to their tragic fates.
Whilst the Shadowed Aelven kings may have claimed domain on land with their young god twisting the Realm to his will, the seas remained wild and untamed. Their essense running deeper with the shifting nature of the realm, the unkowable, untamable, unreachable coalescing in blackened waters and thick mists.
It is here, in these cold and unknown places that the Pirates of Ulgu lurk, roaming ships carved from the husks of monstrocities of ages passed, foul creations warped by the Realm. Ogors by any other measure but born of Ulgu, raiders and pillagers, tyrants and butchers who bring with them hordes of the Shadow Beast that others could not dare to tame.
Drifting from the mists to set upon their prey, only to fade back into the darkness when their deeds are done.
