I'm still just getting into AoS. So far, we've just played with some of the scenarios in the Starter Set (and played a bunch of standard games with our Silver Tower minis).

I picked up the General's Handbook last week, and we're excited to try out some campaigns. I'm curious if one of the Realmgate books (or others) might be a good spot to generate a campaign from. I haven't ever looked inside of one, but do they have maps with corresponding Battleplans inside?

I am guessing we could take the special effects/bonuses described in the Map Campaign section in the Handbook and apply them to various locations.

Continue the story of Sigmar’s strike against Chaos with this fantastic hardback book! Inside, you’ll find a huge selection of Battleplans - these are new ways to play Warhammer Age of Sigmar, scenarios that complement and add to the core ruleset to give you new and unique command abilities for your generals, differing victory conditions, objectives and goals for your armies to clash over and set-up/battlefield environment rules special to the story you’re recreating. The Age of Sigmar is a fraught and dangerous place, and the tales from the Realms are endless and exciting - this book throws you headfirst into the spectacular war of the Stormhosts, and adds depth, detail and insight into the struggles Sigmar and his alliances face.

Included are Warscrolls for the following featured forces - Stormcast Eternals, Khorne Bloodbound and Sylvaneth, and Warscroll Battalions which provide special abilities and conditions for groups of warriors.

Is this the kind of book you were looking for? Granted, there's A LOT of fluff in there along with the additional battleplans, scenarios, victory conditions, objectives, etc.

Kill Team - T'au Empire, Death Guard
Warhammer Underworlds - Garrek’s Reavers

They have maps and battleplans a plenty, but the battleplans do not necessarily correspond with locations on the maps so it might require a bit of cutting and grafting to make a map campaign out of it - but it should serve as a great source for inspiration.

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

Gotcha. Thank you. That's what I guessed. Just wanted to get a sense for how cohesive one could make it. I'd like to (relatively) easily build up a Mordheim/Frostgrave-esque list of scenarios to pull from for Narrative campaign.
