Hello my friends

So I was screwing around on the computer and found out they added beastmen to total war. After several hours of playing them and the starting video I felt love for them like I have not since 2003 ish before pumped monotaurs where added.

After winning the long goals, I went to do some laundry while down basement I started to dig around some boxes of old warhammer stuff not used since AoS. Stumbled apon some beastmen, oh I was happy and so please then I brougt them upstairs placed the primmed bestigor models on the table and thought oh I need some more pestigors, minotaurs and a brey shawman.

Well I went to GW website found out they split them up.........randomly? Brey herd, grey herd or something and after finding them in chaos I thought there was hope of the special gors to come back sadly no the range is almost gone they are chilling with rats and so many other problems.

So I simply closed the browser placed the models back in the box and put them back in the basement when I was changing the loads over. How much money would I have lost if they did not blow up the world god knows.

Did anyone else try and start a army only to find them destroyed? Do you find yourself visiting the website less and less? How do you deal with the lets start a army oh god its this crap im done woes.

They are split into sub factions which can all be selected in the same list, I can't see why formatting would prevent you building an army which can now take options from every faction in the chaos grand alliance in a game that is better supported now than fantasy was for the last few years? Between brayherd and warherd I think most of the faction is still there with a vast array of conversion potential from all the many other chaos warscrolls on offer.

Soon his foes would learn that the only thing more dangerous than a savage three hundred pound brute is a savage three hundred pound brute with a plan - Ork Codex

I'm genuinely trying to read a point to answer out of your post, and can't find one.

You appear to be complaining that models are no longer available?
The split into Brayherds and Warherds is meaningless in practice until they get specific allegiance abilities. You can still field both.
Separation is not random, Brayherds are the lil' guys, Warherds are the big guns.
Still apparently viable forces, possibly even more so than in WFB from reports I've read.

I think he has some questions posted.

And my simple answer will be 'No' to all of them.

It's too bad the models you liked are no longer in production - it's a general trend in the world I think, old stuff goes out and new stuff comes in. If you don't like the new stuff, why are you posting on a subforum dedicated to it?

As for your questions:

Did anyone else try and start a army only to find them destroyed?
Nope, though my TK army went out of production. That's alright though, they are still a ton of fun to play, and I can find replacement models from other ranges easily enough.

Do you find yourself visiting the website less and less?
Nope, not at all.

How do you deal with the lets start a army oh god its this crap im done woes.
I never experienced this. I'm not too attached to the old stuff, I quit way back because the gameplay was just too stupid. I find it a lot more fun nowadays, I can still use my old models and I can complement them with stuff from the new ranges. All is good.
