Okay the question is; why?

What separates this from the rattlecan lids and blue tack that I already use? Or the large corks that most people use?

The grip arm thing is nice, but I don't see myself using it a lot.

The difference is... you can work touchless, more precise and comfy.

Nice ideas here, Stephan / derwish.
I like the styling and ingenuity.
Now if you could only come up with something for my tired old vision :-D

I am very interested especially depending on the price.

Just finished the work with the pledge levels.
Just a few examples...

Shipping will cost 7€ to Europe and between 10 - 12€ to the US and rest of the world.

Okay, 16/21€ sounds reasonable. Will shipping costs be cheaper for Germany?

I got one of the v2 ones as a Valentine's Day pressie and have to say they are great - really comfortable to use and keep my fingers off the figure as I paint. If Brexit hadn't put the £ in the toilet versus the € I'd be in for one or more for sure, as it is I'll watch with great interest.

They look really nice, but I find myself thinking they are too expensive for the function because of how pretty they are. I would be more interested in a workmanlike, bare bones version that just got the job done at a better price.

Still, brilliant idea that is very nice to look at!

We'll find out soon enough eh.

Are the corks used standard sizes or cut to fit?

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?

The used corks are standardised for our holders and grips. Extra corks will be available after the campaign and probably during the campaign as one of our strech goals as well.

Right yeah I worded that poorly, I meant are you using normal-sized corks that you can buy anywhere. I'm not buying into something that uses proprietary sizing of the part I'll need to replace on a regular basis when the generic version can be bought in bulk for pennies.

I almost ordered a v2 of this from Broken Table Hobbies earlier today when I ordered a paint rack. I decided to wait until I could see a few reviews. Glad I found this thread. Can't wait to see the v3.

I`m pretty sure, if you search the internet, you`ll find similar cork sizes which fits as well But I don`t know what you expect from the corks.. do you think you have to replace the cork often? With one cork you`ll be able to fix at least 50 or more models. We plan to offer our extra corks for about 1 GBP (1,30$) each, and we think, this is a fair price.

There are some reviews from the V2, (google: miniature holder review) but you can`t match the V2 with the V3. The V3`s were improved a lot through the feedback we received about the V2`s.
And reviews for the V3 are on the way. If you wish I`ll link V3 reviews once somebody made one. I think figurementors.com will make a review in the next days.
