Gerratus the forgotten knight (has a thermal cannon IWD and a 3++ base)

My partners list

Now I have a Castigator should that be taken instead of the Acheron? Should My partner also take the Baronial Court fo the 3++ on everything and a 4++ for the lancer in h2h?
Also I like Gerratus because on the front he will have a 2++ and rerolls 1 on the stomp table
