Howdy!
Me and a friend is going to play our second Matched Play game this evening and I'm looking for some suggestions on fun Battleplans. First game we just played a simple "Kill all" type of game to test out the points on our respective armies.
Tonight we wan't to play something a bit more interesting. I looked at the Pitched Battles Battleplans but these just doesn't do it for us at the moment. We have enough of victory points going on in our 40K games.
So I'm basically just asking for your favourite battleplans as I it's a bit expensive to buy them all!
The game will be a Seraphon vs Death, but we are open to all battleplans as long as they are fun and engaging.

The problem is a lot of the battleplans have force modifications which wouldn't translate well to matched play - and the whole point of matched play is tournament style victory games.
I'd suggest Out Of The Mist or The Ritual though.

Ture, but in the spirit of AoS we like to experiment
Thanks, will look at those!

I think it is called fleeting fealty. It is a fun plan where you roll to see who controls rampaging monsters. When I ran it we included excessive numbers of monsters so we rolled to see where each on came in and then they tried to kill whoever was closest so neither of us controlled them. It was a ton of fun though.

My Armies:
Orks about 15000-16000 mostly unpainted but slowly being worked on
Militarum Tempestus about 2000 points just built
Inquisition about 2000 points unpainted
Officio Assassinorum 570 unpainted
I dont paint quickly |

Thanks for the suggestions!
We ended up going for The Ritual which was actually really fun. Only 4 models died which was interesting (mainly because Deathrattle got lucky on the D6/D3s)
