Press release can be found here: http://admin.thearmypainter.com/files/downloads/NewWarpaints_PressRelease.pdf

In short, they're more than doubling the number of paints available for a range of 124 in total, including 9 new "effect" paints for weathering, special effects etc.

In total:

- 96 paints
- 8 metallics
- 11 washes
- 9 effect paints

Really pleased about this, have used army painter for a while now, but there wasn't enough colour varieties in the range, getting a consistent mix right can be tricky and more work, so the more colours in the range, the easier it is for me.

I wonder if they're doing 100% colour match...

...of the current GW range?

That's brilliant news, I really like them and my FLGS stocks them, but the range was always a bit meh.

The coloured washes have been brilliant so far.

I'll be trying out most of the washes and textures.

I'm intrigued by the limited full set. If there's a healthy discount baked into the price, It might be worth picking up for me.

I find their paints interesting. Some, like the metallics, seem to be very thin and barely cover (could just be a bad batch). I love their tone inks, and some of their colors look really nice.

I've actually had nothing but good experiences with their metallics so yeah, probably a bad batch there.

This is great news, AP paints are always my favoritest. I have a mix of citadel, p3 and vallejo, but the AP paints always seem to work the best for me.

Good news. I'd be happy if they just put Monster Brown in a spray.

I've used AP Warpaints for the last few years. Love the consistency, great coverage (even the yellow which can be a pain to paint in other ranges) and coupled with the coloured primers makes batch painting less of a chore.

Very excited for this new addition, having collected all the variations of AP Warpaints - Zombicide, Black Plague etc.

I wish they would make a dark blue color primer.

That is great news. I really like their line, and many of the new colors look great. I wish there was a "everything new" bundle, as I already own their entire old range. I would like all the new colors, but don't want doubles.

I've had this experience as well. Colors that seem to be two coats in Citadel sometimes take 4 or 5 in Army Painter. And for some reason it seems to apply unevenly.

I've had this experience with multiple paints in their line (especially the Dark Angel Green) while other paints in their line are just fine.

I like the Army Painter range, only tried a handful but they have been consistently good. I pop a little plastic bead in the bottle to act as an agitator when shaking them up, works a treat. Now that they have expanded the range, I can't really imagine buying anything else.

Great news.

The colours in the press release look interesting. Some of those Turquoise/Jade shades look very close to each other, be interesting to see them in the flesh.

Im mainly interested in Crusted Sore and Vampire Red as I still long for a replacement to GW's old Scab Red. My 2 pots won't last forever...

Given how much I like their silvers Rough Iron is a must have.
