How do you work out how warp spiders shoot tanks? With monofilament they wound against initiative but tanks have no initiative so how do you wind them? Does it go off the strength of the weapon?

They're also Strength 6.

You only roll to-wound against non-vehicles, anything with an Armor Value gets an armor penetration roll. Some rules call out one or the other specifically.

Monofilament has no effect on vehicles, since as Jakadakk said, you don't wound a tank - you roll to penetrate its armour

I was honestly hoping this thread was about Warp Spiders and if they could teleport into tanks or not... Damn.

Well you know what they say "hope is the first step on the road to disappointment"

However, I'm pretty sure Warp Spiders can jump through obstacles, provided they know their destination, so it's possible for them to warp jump into tanks

Sorry I understand you don't wound tank, bad wording on my part but would you just roll strength 6 vs whichever sode you were attacking?

I bet that one guy who survived the Warp Spider teleporting into his armored vehicle has one hell of a story to tell... Out of the untold billions, only one can tell the tale!

Yep! Strength vs armor value on the side you're hitting. Monofilament plays no part in it at that point

This is why you have the reinforced ram option to keep those nasty spiders from sticking on your wind shield.
