Hi guys
it´s my first post so i´m quite nervous ...

Nah joking aside, I am visiting this forum daily and love it. Recently i created an acc ´cause i need some question answered for myself.

Now to the question(and a short backstory):

This year i want to participate at my local GW Armies on Parade competition. I have already an idea in fact i want to make a "heroes of mankind" army. I´ll split my 24x24inch board into 4 different sectors. Each sector will have a different hero with his "honorguard" and suitable terrain.
More precisely:

Logan and 5 Wolfguard termis on some snowy environment

draigo and 5 paladins on a corrupted planet surface

calgar and 5 termis on something like marble stairs and pillars

And now to the actual questions:

The fourth quater will get lysander and 5 shield termis ... but what environment would mirror their nature best ???
a urban battlefield or the inner of a fortress .... would need some suggestions ^^

2nd question: I want to put a planet into the middle of my board ... right there where all of my 4 themes meet(center of the borad). The planet is supposed to represent terra.

Are there any significant patterns on the surface of terra. Some aspects I could paint to differ terra from any other planet. U should see it and say " hey this is terra"


No matter what or where they face the enemies of mankind at the end they all fight for the same reason ... to protect Terra and the Emperor(which will be displayed by the planet in the middle of my board)
What do you think about this project in general ???

PS: I hope this is the right section could not decide between here and the Painting&Modelling sector.

I would say the most notably Terran feature is the Golden Throne. That would make it immediately obvious what's going on, I think.

I think if you were to use the Golden Throne, then Rogal Dorn would be more appropriate than Lysander.

Barricades or something fortressy. Lyssander being an Imperial Fist and all. They love their defenses.

Dead iron warrior warsmith at his feet ig you feel like it.

Terra is just Earth 38,000 years in the future. So if you just make Earth (albeit without any oceans) it should be pretty obvious.
