Hi folks,

I'm painting a warlord titan and really stuck for ideas on colour. I incorrectly thought they were in houses like knights and planned on making it Terryn.

I know i could always just create whatever fluff and make it a Terryn or UM titan if i wanted, but I'm seeing if there's a more canony option.

No colours scare me to paint, but I'm keen on seeing heraldry and such that looks good.

Any help would be much appreciated.

There's quite a few 'canon' legions, both loyalist (Imperial) and renegade.

From the top of my head, the main 4 loyalists from the early 90s...

Legio Astraman (Morning Starts): Green, gold trim, blue/white stripes. Morning Star flail icon. Forgeworld Graia.

Legio Astorum (Warp Runners): Blue, red/orange flames. Steel or dark metal trim. Blue sunburst with black disc icon. Can't remember the Forgeworld.

Legio Ignatum (Fire Wasps): Red, gold / yellow trim. Yellow/black stripes. Wasp over a blue, hollow triangle icon. Forgeworld Mars.

Legio Gryphonnicus (War Griffons): Grey Dapple with Yelow/gold secondary, Blue / Dark metal trim. Gryphon rampant over a disc (typically solid blue gryphon and yellow disc - varies by rank). Forgeworld Gryphonne IV.

Funny, I knew of the warp runners, and the iconography and name appealed to me but i didn't see any i liked. Your description of colours sold it for me though

I've done the Warp Runners for my Titans, and even the Knights look pretty awesome done up in blue and yellow.
