Just wondering if anyone has adapted rules for the Mighty Empires tiles/campaign to AoS? I know the General's Handbook has rules for map-campaigns, but I mean something inclusive of the unique tile markers like "Great Cannons", etc?

Have you checked out these ressources?

They have made comprehensive rules for adapting Mighty Empires plus a lot of other stuff.

Thanks for that. I've definitely looked it over in the past, but my group felt it seemed a bit... much. In light of the last rules-light version of Mighty Empires which GW ever sold, with just a minimum of points to spend upgrading tiles w/wins, this seems to have tons of extra rules. Love the idea of each "domain" having its own sub-rules, etc... but I think I might just use this as a guide-line, and maybe strip it back some.

To add to the above, the last iteration of Mighty Empires was really a "map campaign" with minor additions/bonuses for holding certain tiles, whereas the Azyr Empire is a full RESOURCE campaign.

I'm mostly interested in the former, and not so much the later which is VERY RPG heavy, and involves specific character progression, etc.

The original Mighty Empires was a full on resource campaign as well. Thats why I adapted it for 6th edition and then AOS with Azyr Empires.

But I also prefer RPG heavy games

If you want to go rules-light I think the general's handbook is pretty much optimal for that.
