I'm trying to come up with a 2000pt list with a slaanesh sonic weaponry theme. I am starting with 3 identical sonic dreadnoughts with blastmasters and warp amps (allows the dreadnoughts to shoot ALL sonic weapons twice) for 190pts each along with 2-4 identical MSU noise marine squads with a blastmaster, 3 sonic blasters, a champion with meltabombs, and a rhino with dozer blades for 179pts each. I have to include one chaos lord with MoS to make the noise marine troops and I want the other HQ to be a slaanesh sorcerer who will hopefully get the slaanesh psychic power that increase the strength of ALL sonic weapons by 1 vs the target hit by the power. That would give me 8-10 s8 ap3 cover ignoring blasts which would become strength 9 vs one target per turn. If I use all 4 noise marine squads, I would have 1286pts before the HQ's which would probably run around ~350pts for both of them. That would leave me with another ~350pts left over, which I planned on spending on a tri-lascannon predator and a chaos fire raptor gunship. My question is; how should I equip the two HQ's? I definitively will make the sorecer ML3 with the standard spell familar and sigil, besides that I am open to any ideas. I could also drop a squad of noise marines for a squad of bikers or spawn for my load and/or sorcerer to go with. Thanks in advanced for any help.

Excellent theme you've got here, I've always wanted to see these Sonic Dreads in action they look pretty good.

For the Lord and Sorceror bikes are the best choice by far, mark their retinue with Slaanesh as well, take the banner for FNP and plasma/combi plasma. LC/PF with 4++ for the Lord and power sword or maul for the Sorceror depending on your opponents.

I was definitely leaning towards the biker squad with and Icon for the FnP. I was considering giving the lord a steed of slaanesh to give the whole squad outflank as well as the murder sword or the burning brand for either a powerful melee monster to deal with my opponent's special snowflake or a MEQ destroyer. If I go this route though, I am not sure if I even want the sorcerer in that unit or just in with on of the noise marine squads in a purely support role.
