Alright, this is really just meant as an open-door place for all things Imperial and Armored. Show off your paint, your conversions, your projects.
It was my impromptu home over on Warseer, before people started having problems. Always was a great thread for inspiration and discussion on things. I'd be stunned if there weren't a couple of Treadheads over here who might have been there.
Gonna open up with a few of my own beats of armored delivery of death.
In progress, waiting for camo - my Armageddon Basilisk, with a new metal gun barrel, from a 1/35 scale ISU-152.
Mortian Heavy Tank, sporting a couple of modified weapon options.
First up, the Annihilator mounting, sporting two of my own Tiger Pattern Long Gun Barrels.
Second, with a 1/35 scale M-61 Vulcan gun for the Punisher variation.
Ratgard Owl SPG, Mortar mounting, refitted with a cut-down 1/35 scale D-30 Russian Howitzer gun for my Griffon variant, still
WIP.
This beast is only known as Bertha.. Skoda 42cm Howitzer conversion to field as either a Colossus or Medusa, or other seriously big artillery piece. I'm unsure about the back extension lately, I might splice extra track unit length on to give it a reach. Sitting in front of that is the dozerblade that has been expanded to serve as recoil spade for the
BFG.
Another Chimera mod, this one's going to serve as my Wyvern option, built using the pieces from a 1/35 Stuka Zu Fuss to give it the rocket artillery look.
Swingback style Chimera/Russ Exterminator conversion.
I can't take credit for the build, this behemoth was done by Machinator, master of Blood and Skulls Industry, as a commission piece, my Jagdsword.
My first Superheavy, a Macharius Vanquisher, codenamed Overlord.
A little more help from Blood and Skulls, this one's my Vanquisher design. Land Raider tracks, all I had to do was cut off part of the track fitting guides on the track units and they fit on smoothly.
That would be a large representation from my Guard fleet.. love to see the works of other treadheads, always good to see some inspiration from Other sources that might bring me to new ideas and new heights. So come, bring your tanks, and let us share the armored glory!
