I'm thinking of running them in packs of four. Then you get the banner and musician. But having a hard time deciding between clubs and hackers or the gargant hacker. I'm thinking the gargant for the rend and more damage

Gargants have almost always been better in my opinion. The rebounding of the fists is nice, but I prefer higher damage output

With mournfangs you want to be hitting first whenever possible so i would say the gargant hackers for sure. Ive tried them both ways and the extra rend and high damage is better psychologically in addition to better stats. Failing one save and losing three models has made some of my opponents not throw more units into combat when they really should have to keep me from getting charge bonuses etc.

I wanted to remind myself of the Gargant hacker rules and noticed they are not listed on the AOS app... anyone know why? Only see the club/blades and fist shield.

Try deleting and redownloading the warscroll. They get updated every once in a while.
