I had my first experience with Matched Play today with good success. It was my Stormcast Eternals against a Khornate Chaos Band. The lists were as follows at 1k points:
Surprisingly... I won! I managed to get Archaon down to 5 wounds as well which I felt pretty good about. Great game overall and I like the balance of Matched Play.

The objectives helped to keep the game fun and interesting. Otherwise it would have just been "how many units can I feed in to this 700 point model."

For 80 points he was a cheap add-in with a Warlord Trait. He was able to sap an extra round of attacks by healing himself back up (He got the bonus wound and Phoenix Stone artefact).
He functioned as an effective meat shield as my opponent was more afraid of characters than the group of retributors tied up with Archaon.
