Sorry if this was asked million times before...

So I got interested in Malifaux as of late. So I want to buy Children of December box, I heard that it will be about 30 points, right? So to expand this crew a little I plan to take Desciples of Descember, is it a good choice? What henchmen generally have good compatibility with Rasputina?

Dark Angels ~ 7350pts (about 5800 painted);
Ultramarines ~ 4700pts (about 2700 painted);
Imperial Knights ~ 1300pts (about 800 painted);
Skitarii and Mechanicum ~ 2000pts (about 1800 painted);
Assassins ~ 850pts;
Tyranids ~ 2000pts

Rasputina's crew box is an odd one. It's sold and works right out of the box but is all her weakest pieces. The gamin are only good as mirror relays and the golem is too slow to let Rasputina hang back in safety. You will want December Acolytes first because they cover most of the weaknesses in the crew box. After that it's a decision, Silent Ones provide healing and covering fire, the Blessed of December is a fast beat stick and SnowStorm is passable at melee and range but provides lots of positioning tools.

Thx for the reply. I googled Snow Storm and saw that there is two models(?), do ypu mean big one, or small one, that goes with Children of December box?

That's some good solid advice from ChaoticMind - we have a local Raspy player and he's pretty much swapped out the core crew for the models listed above.

One place that's really good for stuff like this is Pull My Finger, the Malifaux wiki, which has a tactica page for every model in the game. Rasputina is here: https://pullmyfinger.wikispaces.com/M2E+Rasputina I use it a lot to help plan purchases and crew choices, and can't recommend it enough.

I suppose it's also traditional to say "Welcome to Malifaux!" at this point too - hope you enjoy it, and good luck with the crew!
