Fire Storm should work during your opponents turn because it says once per turn right?

Unless specifically stated as game turn; turn always means player turn.

Maybe you should follow your signature and actually read the rules before just posting to up post count.

Maybe you should read the actual rule in question?

Yes Invocation of the Elements only happens in your movement phase, then lasts until your next movement phase.

Storm of Fire can effect each unit(in range) once per turn. That means your fire warriors can shoot 3 shots with pulse rifles at or under 15" in your shooting phase, and then 3 more shots with the pulse rifles at or under 15" in overwatch.

This is because Storm of Fire can effect a given unit once per turn, which means player turn.

"Storm of Fire: Affected models fire an extra shot with pulse weapons (pg 119) when firing at a target within half the weapon's maximum range. ... Storm of Fire can only affect a unit once per turn, regardless of how many Ethereal 's invoke it"

So lets break it down. We define what a pulse weapon is along with what happens with the pulse weapon in the first sentence. No where does it state it can fire only one per turn. Then we look at the last sentence( I omitted the pulse limitations sentence). You are saying the last sentence is a limitation on shooting for overwatch, I say it is a limitation on how many ethereal 's can affect units with storm of fire. Please show me where it negates the effects of Invocation of the Elements "next movement phase" rule.

Yes i cannot activate storm multiple times but i see no indication of where it says the shots are only on my turn. Unless you want to twist the wording of the last sentence to be all inclusive instead of a cap on the number of shots. It can affect a unit once per turn; i cast the power then anything within 12" benefits from the effect until my next movment phase. The storm is different from the others because it is not a set value it is a +1 so a limit had to be added into that rule so we didnt fire 4 shots from pulse carbines at 9". Not to limit it to one player turn of shooting.

This is my interpretation of the rules but i was also in the bandwagon of thunderblitz orcas so we might be on opposite ends of the spectrum here.

Go back and read my last post again, this time pay attention to where I used the words "and then", where I used those words and what I was talking about.
