With SAS having released the upgrade sprue I can now post these pics - this is a cracking little upgrade sprue, lots of options and those cybel glaive thingummies are every bit as fun to paint as they look.

Those paint jobs are godly, winterdyne. The originals really sold me on MEdge, and these new guys will probably sell me on the upgrade sprue.

Can't help but think that you're polishing a turd. Great painting, sculpts look like they were made 20 years ago.

Heh, if I'm paid to, I'll polish pretty much anything. :-)

Jokes aside, I actually like 'em. They're *simple*. I think intentionally so, as the fine detail that's there (such as the ribbed hoses on the back of the shadow walkers' heads) is neatly done.

Far, far too much emphasis these days seems to be put on stupidly high amounts of detail. It's unneccessary for a gaming piece. These take very little effort to clean up and assemble, the moulds are clean and crisp, and from what I've worked with so far, very consistent (that's actually quite a big thing).

I miss a great many sculpts from more than 20 years ago, too. I am old.
