I am not familiar with Eldar and especially Harlequins so not sure how to assemble my minis. I am seeing the Death's Companions formation and it tells you how equip the units. Thing is do I have to be careful when I assemble the minis? I am looking Harlequin Player 1 and 2 and 3 etc and they have multiple options. Do the sprue have one of each so I don't have to worry about putting two same weapons on two minis when the formation only calls for one. Example one player has a Harlequin's Caress and another has a a Harlequins Kiss. Right now I don't have a clue what these are but I just want to make sure there is only one of each so I can't really screw it up, or do I really have to be careful and make sure each Harlequin player has the correct weapon? Usually I don't care for WYSIWYG but thought I would try it out this time and want to make sure before I start assembling.

Also does it really matter if I put them on 25mm or 32mm bases? Since Space Marines can be on 32mm or 25mm bases does it really matter if I use 32mm bases since I prefer them now and getting use to assembling my minis on them now. I don't see no rules difference except for "use what they came with" but since a lot of SM bases came with 25mm since last year and a lot of people just converted them to 32mm bases, couldn't we do the same?

Or is this maybe an indication that base size is actually going to make a difference in 8th edition? I just prefer 32mm bases now than to the small 25mm bases.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

This is the wrong forum. You probably want General Discussion.

Thanks. I was in General looking for my post and wondering why I couldn't find it. I thought I was there since I never come to background forum. OOOPS. Contacted a Mod to move it for me. Thanks.

To help you with the assembly of the Harlequins, there is a construction guide, that shows you how to put everything together, it also outlines which bits are what, so that you can put the right thing, on the right body, If your following the set up from that particular formation. You can find the link HERE

As for your question on bases, As far as i'm aware, the harlequin only come with 25mm sized bases, not the 32's.That said, i don't really think that anyone would have a problem if you would rather base them up on the larger size. I know that i wouldn't.

Oh stop complaining, its for the greater good... Now get in the box!
