Once again the BFS crew is running its annual Columbus day Weekend 40k Grand Tournament.

On at 10/8-10/9 we be featuring a 2 day, 1850 point GT using the following missions/restrictions

- Nova Missions/List Building
- ITC FAQS
- GW Draft FAQS will *NOT be included


ITC Sanctioned event: you will gain points for this ITC Season

Friday will be Open gaming and our Skirmish tournament as well as a Apocalypse Game on Sunday

We will also be hosting 2 days of X-Wing Tournament play as well.

Leth. Yea DW is fine. ITC faq is the go to faq. GW drafts not used.

We are at the 30 day point of no return on any new Codexes . We are going to include the GW Draft FAQs in that as well since it could seriously change up players lists.

I will be there. Super excited, missed the event last year. One of the best run midsized gt's you will ever attend with great people and perfect location in the mall. Also historically really tough field with many of the east coast best players roughing each other up.

I think need to get back to painting.

Question: I thought the ITC ruled that special rules don't transfer from unit to an IC unless they say otherwise. However I cant find it, I know that it specifies that IC's dont transfer to units in the rulebook.

Second question: However will you be ruling for things like bounding loop for the wulfen it says the unit may run and then charge work with an IC attached? From the GW FAQ as long as a model who doesn't have this rule within the unit didnt run then the unit can still charge.

Third Question: In the GW FAQ it says every unit counts as all factions contained within. How will you be treating units made of multiple factions(sorry if I missed it, been out of the 40k loop for 6 months)

Special rules are only transferable if the Special rule says it does. ITC Faq doesnt limit this from what i see.

Skirmish starts tomorrow evening as well as open gaming. GT and X-Wing starts on Sat. Cant wait.

Still have a few slots open for skirmish, GT and X-Wing. right now we are at 54 registered for the GT. we have enough tables to host 64 players so late/walk in registrants are welcome for all games.

Kirwans once again be opening a store at the Event.

Any way. We had a great time running the BFS event once again. All the players were awesome and with the crazy state of the game there were very few problems in matches. Very few did not come to a natural conclusion as well.

We will be sending ITC the results and check out our facebook page for more pictures.

Cant wait till next year.

Yah me and Vercin were the ones whose hotel got screwed up. Stinks we had to leave because as usual you guys put on a great event. Looking forward to next year with backup plans for hotels and such haha.

I'll echo that. We only attended the Combat Patrol event the night before, but Ed, Bobby and the whole crew were wonderful and always put on a terrific event.
