Has anyone come across a way of bringing this in line with the current necron codex? or even better has forgeworld?

Nope, they don´t have the resources and the interest to do that at FW. And GW is better off to not messing around with their stuff.

Basically GW has a standing policy these days of not updating anything if they cant sell the update as a new release. This extends down to FW as well. Once FW sells out of its stock of IA12 books, I imagine theyll do an update and a new print run. Until then...

So far they've produced second editions of Imperial Armours 1, 2, 3, 4, 5-7 (combined into single volume), and 11. They skipped 8-10 but the ones they have updated were done in numerical order. Fall of Orpheus was 12 so if they don't ignore it altogether it should be updated next.
