Hi Everyone
I am new to Age of Sigmar and even Warhammer. I have the AoS starter set and the Start Collecting! Seraphon set. I got a great deal on that one. My friends play Stormcast and Greenskinz. We don't want overlap, so I should choose between Chaos and Death. I guess the Sylvaneth is an option but I haven't given them much thought. Everyone tells me to choose the ones that I think look the best. They all great but if I had to choose a best one, I would say Daemons of Khorne. Like I said, though, they all look great. I found another topic elsewhere where a new player asked for a vote. That helped but I still have questions. My budget allows for 2 Start Collecting! boxes. A store downtown has a good price on the Lord Heldrath's Chaos Deathtide box. I could get that instead. My question is how would these armies play with and without the starting set:

1. The Deathtide set
2. Flesh-eater Court and Malignants (or Skeleton Hordes instead of either of those)
3. Daemons of Khorne and ?

I would appreciate any advice. Thank you for helping out this new player.

The style of play for a Skeleton Horde is to grind your opponent into the ground over a period of time. As they lose models and you reanimate yours. It's effective, but not flashy. It can also be boring and frustrating for you and your opponent.

I would recommend Chaos because two of your choices can be in the same faction.
